Featuring our premier acousto-magnetic ( AM) technology, the Ultra• Shield detection system provides up to 1.8m ( 6ft) of detection coverage between pedestals - less pedestals needed for full coverage at store entrances. The “ tags-too-close” feature allows, the Ultra• Shield to alert store personnel, with a visual alarm notification if tagged merchandise is placed too close to the detection system. This feature helps reduce service calls due to false alarms as a result of this common merchandising challenge.
